Gyrotonic ® For Golfers is designed by Gyrotonic creator, Juliu Horvath and David Rasmussen, PGA tour instructor, and Gyrotonic Trainer. These exercises focus on increasing flexibility while building strength throughout one’s golf swing.  The Gyrotonic® system will help you increase and strengthen your hip and shoulder turn, improve the rotation of the arms, strengthen your wrists and forearms, improve your cardiovascular fitness.  Benefits of Gyrotonic® training allows the golfer to increase drive distance with better contact and directional control of the ball, and the ability to swing the golf club faster. Golfers have reported more consistent play with decreases in potential injury.

Gyrotonic for tennis players is a specialized athletic training program created and researched by Anjali Austin, Professor in the School of Dance at Florida State University and  Sandy Ecclestone MSPT both Gyrotonic(R) and Gyrokinesis (R) Master Trainers.  The training methods focus on enhancing the athletes balance through focusing on upper and lower body alignment and form.  Special attention is paid to footwork and the placement of one’s weight on the metatarsals, of the feet for the greatest balance and agility.  Gyrotonic exercises will increase spinal rotation by improving mobility and stability of the shoulders while improving hip flexibility, strengthen wrist, strengthening of the

abdominals and back muscles improving serves, volleys and groundstrokes.  Breathing accompanies these exercises keeping muscles healthy and responsive increasing the athletes cardiovascular – aerobic element to enhance one’s performance.
